1955 Oak Air Ministry Bookcase by Staverton for the Crown Supplier. Vintage/Storage/Mid Century
A stunning example this superb government Bookcase made by Staverton Furniture Makers, by order of the Crown Suppliers for the Air Ministry.
This particular example is stamped ‘ER’ on the reverse, so was made under Queen Elizabeth II in 1955, shortly after she took the throne.
Free standing and made from Oak, this fantastic piece has five separate sections each with its own roll top door. Each section is divided into three compartments for display or storage of any manner of wares.
Offered in excellent vintage condition with only minor marks commensurate with age, this unit is very strong and sturdy and ready for a new home.
